Mickey and Minnie Mouse : Unknown Facts!

  

I don't need to introduce them. Do I??? Mickey is the most recognised and yet the most loved cartoon character created by Walt Disney in 1928. Today I want to share some unknown facts about Mickey and Minnie both. Here they are :-

1. The character Mickey was inspired by Walt Disney's pet which was a mouse.

2. Mickey Mouse was first cartoon character to earn a star in the Hollywood walk of fame.

3. Although they didn’t show this on screen but Mickey and Minnie are married in private life.

4. Walt Disney earlier named the mouse Mortimer but his wife told him Mickey would work better. 

5. Mickey’s full name is Michael Theodore Mouse.

6. First word's of Mickey we heard was “hot dog”.

7. The first time Mickey referred to Minnie as his girlfriend was through song in 1929' Mickey follies where he sang that he "got a sweetie…she's my little Minnie Mouse."

8. Mickey's rival, Mortimer Mouse, is actually Minnie's ex-boyfriend.

9. Till now Mickey is 89 years old. 

10.  And finally, the most romantic piece of trivia ever: The woman who voiced Minnie, Russi Taylor, married the man who voiced Mickey, Wayne Allwine, in 1991. They were married until Wayne's death in 2009.
